Seafarer on the bridge of a vessel

Services

Crew Management

The quality of ship management depends directly on the competence and stability of the people onboard.

Overview

Competent Crews.
Consistent Standards.

MSM's crew management approach focuses on qualified seafarer deployment, regulatory compliance, effective relief planning, performance management and crew welfare.

Crewing decisions balance certification, experience and continuity, so that each vessel sails with a competent, familiar team rather than a collection of strangers.

How We Work.
People Before Paperwork.

The right people on every vessel

Officers and ratings are selected against fleet-specific competence matrices, with retention prioritised so experience stays within the fleet. Relief planning is managed ahead of time, keeping crew changes predictable for the vessel and cost-effective for the owner.

Training & development that builds careers

Seafarers follow structured training aligned with regulatory requirements and the fleet’s actual equipment and trading pattern. Performance feedback from masters and superintendents feeds promotion decisions, building officers who know the ships they command.

Scope of Service

What We Deliver.
